Awful Beds, Dreary Accomodations A review of Holiday Inn Express Boston
The beds (mattress) were as hard as rocks, my back still hurts me 3 weeks later. Pillows limp as could be. Linens could have been softer. Don't expect a coffee pot in your room, but they do have complementry coffee in the lobby. No restaurant, but they do have a Bickfords that will deliver next door. No bar service. The TV had every news station and that's about it. Only 1 HBO channel. Located in a horrid shopping center. Got a better value at the Back Bay Hilton with nicer bedding and ammenities. If you're only going to stay here 1 night, it might pass for OK, just don't stay here 5 nights, I think you'll be disapointed. The A/C has two levels, freezing and hot. It was hard to find the right temperature, as this is a window unit as with most Holiday Inns. Bad smells in the elevators. I would not choose this location again.
