Awesome A review of Hotel 't Sandt
We had such a great time. My boyfriend and I, my parents and my brother and sister all stayed here in August. It was about 10 Euros for a taxi from the train station to the hotel. I wouldn't try to walk it unless you have some great shoes, a light back-pack, and a desire to work off those Belgian beers and waffles before you comsume them. There was a bike race around the city when we arrived, so there was a lot of energy in the town. The hotel is a really close walk to a ton of pubs/bars (whatever you call them in your neck of the woods) and the downtown area (with the Church) was just far enough away to be a convenient walk, but not a ton of foot traffic in front of the hotel. At night, my family and I all sat out back on the large deck lined with vines and a cool courtyard area (drinking wine and eating chocolates). All of us agreed we'd stay there again. It was one of the highlights of our stay in Belgium!!
