Awesome Time! A review of Kyriad Hotel Paris Bercy Village
The hotel is right along a metro line (5 minute walk). There are a load of restaurants, pubs, and shops down a street that was simply amazing. The hotel room was small but for the price it was QUALITY. The beds are close to the ground but unless you got a bad back you shouldn't complain they were comfortable. The room was spotless, the bathroom sorted each day and nothing ever went missing and I did leave money out like a moron one day. The shower was a nice power shower that certainly gets you up in the morning and cools you off before bed after a long day of sightseeing. The free breakfest was amazing, it is a shame so many people are clueless about it. You get cold cuts, cheese, yoghurt, fresh breads, crossiants, buns, french bread, milk and cereal, coffee, espresso, cafe au lait, hot chocolate, juices and jams and butter. The thing I enjoyed about it was the hard boiled eggs, no one uses the machine you pop in the eggs which no one else did until they saw us do it and wait a little and boom a nice morning start. We would usually eat enough to last us to an early dinner it was fantastic. The staff were nice and helpful and really I cannot find a fault except that the restuarant was closed for repairs at night (The trip was last Christmas and we are going again this Christmas to the same place). I recommend this to anyone the rooms are not huge but if you have 2 people and 2 suitcases and 2 carryons and cannot sort yourself out. I have also sent another couple there in the summer and they enjoyed it without a single complaint, other then the beds were low to the ground. If that is the only problem with a hotel sign me up.
