Avoid this company like the plague! A review of Old Town Apartments
This comany is very unproffessional, we arrived last night after a long journey, paid for the apartment and collected the key. At arriving at the apartment we found the lift not working, something we required when booking the apartment. So up the stairs we went with the heavy luggage and two young children. Then put the key in the lock and we couldnt get it in! someone before us had broken the key in the lock. We phoned the office and they sent a handyman round 30 mins later. Anyway after two hours waiting to get in the flat and many phone calls to the office, who kept saying "we are working on it and we will phone you back in 5 mins" which they didnt, we were still outside and not in the apartment. Eventually i had to travel to their office to see the manager. He had no appolgy for us and kept making excuses say there is no problem with the lock! Eventually we got him to give us keys to another apartment in the building which we could stay in until the lock on the apartment we booked was fixed. This is what they could have done within the first half an hour.!
To wrap it up, once they have taken your money in advance, they are rude, there is no customer service and they dont care if there is a problem.
Please book with caution, if you do, make sure you are taken to the apartment first to check everything is ok and then pay them. As once you have paid for the apartment the service stops and you wont see your money again if you are unhappy with the apartment in any way....
Yes, we had a problem with the lock, but I learned that two hours later, then I paid for the refreshment in the cafe that these customers had while waiting for the repair but the customers demanded 1st night free - that is what I refused.
