Avoid It! A review of Hotel Brunswick
We stayed here for 1 night after seeing Amish country. It may have been a nice hotel decades ago, but it's in sad shape now.
We paid $69 each for 2 rooms, using coupons out of one of the travelers' booklets.
The rooms were of poor quality; we had to change 1 room because the A/C wasn't cooling and the TV reception went out. All three rooms we "experienced" smelled dank and musty.
The lobby looked like classic 1960s. We didn't bother with the restaurant and swimming pool.
If you've got a reason to be in downtown Lancaster, the location is good. We went to the minor league ballpark that evening, only about a 5 minute drive. But this hotel has absolutely nothing else to recommend it.
Employees we encountered weren't especially helpful, but it should be noted that the place seemed understaffed.
