As Perfect as their Pix on Website!! A review of Flanigan's Inn
Just now writing my review, but in October 2003, my husband and I visited Zion Natl Park for the first time. We were stunned with the magnificent beauty of the park!
I chose my accommodations by searching the internet and decided upon Flanigan's Inn which was right outside the South Entrance of the park in a quaint town, Springdale. Never knowing if the place will look like pix's places put on their website, I held my breath until I actually saw the property. To my pleasant surprise the place was EXACTLY like the website, if not better. I even got the room that was featured on their site. Didn't ask for it, just got it as fate would have it! The property is privately owned with superior service and a homey atmosphere. The room was nice and clean, and cleaning service was excellent. The restaurant was equally as nice.
Choosing October was the perfect time as we were able to hike The Narrows (slot canyons into the Virgin River). Right around the corner from Flanigans is an outfitters place that rent you all the neccesary gear. What a trip of a lifetime!
Stay at Flanigans -- you'll love it!! And treat yourself to The Narrows (just as long it's the right time of year; dangerous floods which prohibit hiking).
