Another Tribute to Denali Lakeview Inn A review of Denali Lakeview Inn
We just returned from a 2 week trip to Alaska and our 2 night stay at the Denali Lakeview Inn was one of the highlights. The views from the rooms overlooking Otto Lake and the surrounding mountains were exceptional. We arrived very late, but a note with instructions left for us by our host Patricia were provided directing us to our room with the fridge stocked with an abundance of continental breakfast goodies and drinks - not to mention the many assorted candies, cookies, sweets, nuts, chips, etc available in common areas for the guests. After 10 days in Alaska, we craved the opportunity to make use of their laundry facilities. The next day upon our return from the Park, the fridge was again stocked. I stayed on the outside deck adjoining our room for at least an hour between 11:00 p.m. and midnight taking pictures of the sunset cascading down the mountains overlooking the lake. Being a little beyond the very touristy/cruiseship influenced area outside Denali Park was a definite plus. This place is one of those memorable B&B finds an experienced traveler is always looking for.
