An okay motel A review of Western Holiday Lodge Three Rivers
We stayed here two nights, 6/10 and 6/11. Room was very nice, breakfest was excellent - they have a waffle maker in the lobby and you can make your own waffle. There are also cereals, milk, juice, coffee, muffins, rolls, fruit. We had a double queen room in the older part of the hotel. Nicely updated, very roomy. You can walk down to the river out the back - very nice. On the down side the air conditioner had a bad musty smell, the pool was cool (was suppose to be heated) and the hot tub was cold. There is a second building, newer, I would suspect they were the rooms with a view - nothing you can't see from the door step of the other rooms. Next time through though I'll take the Holiday Inn Express just down the road. In general Three Rivers was a good base for visiting Sequoia National Park. If you stay in the area, be sure to get some pizza at the Pizza Factory - it was awesome!
