An Evening Affair A review of Hilton Dallas Park Cities
I do agree that the reviewer below is sadly mistaken about their stay at the Hilton. Their poor attitude is probably what contributed to their "terrible" experience vs. the hotel itself.
I recently had an evening wedding reception at this hotel. As a whole, this hotel contributed to my wedding day as a million times better than I could've imagined. The events coordinator was personable and excellent, the valet staff did a terrific job shuffling 200 guests of out their cars, the wait staff did not let you get out of your seats to do anything but serve you during dinner, and the bartenders went out of their way to make or find the right drinks for you. Most of all, the chef was excellent and all entrees, including its presentation, was in culinary-style. This is the same chef who heads the OPIO restaurant, the reviewer mentioned below. The food and service was so good, that we requested a post-brunch at the very last minute for our guests at the restaurant the next morning.
This hotel is not your extravagant typical hotel, but a new, modern, simplistic, and contemporary hotel when you walk in, the lobby decor and ambiance gives you the impression you are in a boutique in Paris or Italy during the Romantic Era.
All weddings aside, obviously customer service and food is excellent at this hotel. The standard rooms and suites are modern-decor, very clean, and spacious. The front lobby, bellmen, and hotel staff were excellent in responding to requests. This is also a great location since you are in central dallas, five minutes from downtown, five minutes to the Galleria and restaurant row, and five minutes from all the nightlife.
