An embarrassment for Hilton - Stay Away! A review of Hilton President Kansas City
Horrible stay. An absolute embarrassment for the Hilton chain.
Terrible Service - Customer service at the front desk is completely lacking. Promised upgrade was unavailable upon check in. Rude employees. No front desk manager many time of the day. When a manager is finally on premises it took over a 30 minute wait to speak to that person. Employees knew nothing about the hotel or amenities, claimed that the hotel was new, only operating for 6 months.
Room Conditions - housekeeping abruptly ends early in the afternoon without notice. Late evening / night request for towels could not be completely fulfilled. Hotel had to scrounge for 1 or 2 towels. Extremely thin walls. Could hear complete conversations from next door rooms.
Summary - Would NEVER stay there again (and that was even at an over 50% room rate discount). Wished I had stayed at the new Marriott tower.
Absolute disappointment. Will not return.
