All that I expected. A review of Montecito Inn
I just returned from a 3 day conference at a different hotel. My stay at the Montecito inn was all that I expected from a boutique hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. My room the first night was the smallest of their rooms with a view of the alley and Lucky's restaurant next door. there was very little noise at night even though my window was open. I never heard the train, but some of the expressway road noise did filter in but became background noise. The next night I was moved to a larger room with 3 windows facing Coast Village road overlooking the entryway to the hotel. the room looked very well appointed with new looking lush bedcoverings and carpeting. Yes the bathrooms in both rooms were small. Luckily I was travelling by myself so I did not have to bargin with my husband for possession of the bathroom. The pool and hot tub were beautifully adorned with flowering shrubs. The restaurant had excellant selections of food and very reasonably priced.
