Absolute best place to stay! A review of Sedona Rouge Hotel and Spa
We just stayed at the brand new Sedona Rouge and we are gushing about it! Our room was gorgeously appointed with a striking blend of furnishings, lush bedding, a 30" wall-mounted flat screen tv, and a shower room in the bath with two shower heads (one strong, the other a gentle rainfall). The bath robes are yummy and luxurious. Every detail is well considered and executed.
The pool area is as plush, with thick comfortable padded lounges (some double size), two fresh towels stacked on each lounge side table, an open outdoor pre-swim shower, and hip music discreetly piped in. We brought mojitos from Reds to drink poolside and truly enjoyed the HOT Sedona afternoon.
We didn't stay long enough to enjoy spa treatments, but we did shop their boutique. I bought a Reds chef jacket as a surprise for my boyfriend (it was his birthday) and the spa manager actually went across the street on her own time to buy gift wrap for it. She personally delivered it to us accompanied by the executive chef, Kyle, and sang Happy Birthday. We were floored by this personal gesture.
Our breakfast at Reds was comped by the hotel as a birthday gift. Our meal exceeded the well-deserved hype. The menu is studded with absolute gems like the unique Arizona Breakfast, marinated ribbons of flank steak on pinto beans and fry bread accompanied by eggs of your choice. Delicious! Nothing like we had ever experienced. We wished we could have stayed for lunch and dinner.
Sedona Rouge is impeccable, modern yet retro, clean-lined yet posh. The hotel staff made our stay even more special. This is one of the finest and fun places we have ever stayed. We cannot wait to return.
