A wonderful getaway... A review of Cypress Inn On Miramar Beach

We just returned from a wonderful stay in Half Moon Bay. The weather was perfect, nearly 70 everyday and the town was busy with the Maverick's surf contest. I have to say none of this mattered when we entered our room.

I was surprised with how large our room was and how close we were to the water. A little two lane road was all that seperated us from the powerful ocean. The sound of the waves and the two person jacuzzi had almost put me into a trance, but my honeys tummy was growling and we had to set off for food.

The desk staff was welcoming and attentive. They knew exactly where we should go to eat and how to get there without having to sit in traffic. We forgot a few items in our flurry to leave the house and get to HMB as soon as possible, but the staff didn't flinch, they reached into a drawer, grabbed two toothbrushes and a razor, gave us each a cup of coffee and sent us back to our room...we loved them for it!

Breakfast called to us each morning. The buffet was perfect. My honey could eat as many blueberry pancakes and sausages as he wanted or as little of the fresh fruit as possible. We just hated to leave so we extended and stayed a third night.

We have been home for two days and have already booked our return trip. We fell in love with the town and most of all found an escape that feels like home without the dishes!
