A very poor hotel overall A review of BEST WESTERN PLUS Ruby's Inn
We stayed there last October during our visit to Bryce Canyon NP. A previous review summed it up very well, this is all you have to choose from, as the park lodge fills up too early and quickly. Ruby's Inn is a classic example where monopoly results in poor quality in product and service. The room was very old, shabby, and unclean, so was the bathroom. Outdated furniture with the Bedspreads on their last leg.
Everything exuded an unpleasant odor. The food at the restaurant had no quality to speak of, but was very expensive. The coffee tasted like lukewarm brown water. The staff was cold and indifferent. Luckily we were there only one night. We then went on to stay at Desert Pearl Inn outside of Zion. Oh, What a treat after Ruby's Inn! Next time I would stay at Desert Pearl and make a day trip to Bryce. Yes it would probably be a 5-hr round trip but it will be well worth it.
