A very good alternative to pricier hotels in the area A review of Le Parc Suite Hotel
The property, a converted apartment building, was conveniently located in West Hollywood on a residential street as advertised. The hotel has been recently renovated, and, public areas were tasefully decorated.
Room was well-sized and, "spic and span" clean; furnishings were comfortable but not exceptional. Kitchenette was functional with sink, microwave and two burner range top; however, refrigerator was in need of defrosting. Bathroom area consisists of three rooms: a nicely-sized dressing room, walk-in-closet with chest of drawers and small water closet with toilet and shower/bathtub.The staff was courteous and attentive at all times. Restaurant/Bar is small and agreeably appointed in its furnishings; good, simple fare at a reasonable price; room-service was prompt. In booking, request third floor corner rooms in the back, as building lacks adequate sound proofing; too, street noise can be objectionable in front rooms. Business office is simplistic (two computers + fax machine) and requires patience for free internet access). Roof-top facilities (pool, jacuzzi, tennis court, sunning area, etc.) pleasant, particularly in early evening. Parking ($18.00 add-on) is in below grade garages and parking spaces are a tight squeeze at best: avail yourself of services of valet parking to avoid frustration.
