A really excellenyt hotel A review of Hotel Palace Praha
We stayed at the Prague Palace (The Pearl of Prague) for four nights in July 2004. The hotel is perfectly situated near Wenceslas Square and so is ideal for the underground, the shopping and as been mentioned, the Mucha museum.
The public rooms are luxurious, the bedrooms large, well appointed and kept spotless by the staff.
The staff are probably the jewel in this hotel's crown. They are friendly, happy to help, speak excellent English and are honest to a fault - I accidentally left £20 in my room on checking out... when I returned a few hours later the money was waiting for me... and that was probably a week's wages for a chambermaid!
Check out the bar U Cipu in the alley beside the hotel... some of the cheapest beer in town... 17 Czech Crowns for a half litre! And being Czech beer the quality is beyond question.
