A real palace! A review of Mamaison Suite Hotel Pachtuv Palace Prague
I have just returned from spending 4 nights in a 'studio' room in the Pachtuv Palace and it was amazing! The main room was incredibly spacious with a massive four poster bed, sofa and dressing table. The kitchen and bathroom were extremely modern and very clean. The hotel staff were also very polite and helpful. The only piece of advice I would give is to save yourself £12 each every day and make breakfast in your own lovely, fully equipped kitchen. From what I saw the hotel breakfast is simply not worth this amount of money.
The hotel itself is situated on a road parallel to the river so as soon as you exit the hotel you have a great view of Charles bridge and Prague Castle. Old Town is simply around the corner and there are quite a few nice little restuarants nearby. I would recommend Cafe Rincon , which is a few doors down from the hotel, for some lovely home cooked food and cheap cocktails!
I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel - it is extremely clean, quiet and just as palatial as you would hope!
