A Little Piece of Heaven A review of Jupiter Beach Resort
Over the years my husband and I have vacationed in the Palm Beach area numerous times. This past April, when my ladies bridge group took advantage of some inexpensive fares into the region on Southwest, I foraged the internet for hotel rooms on the beach. While the Ritz Carlton or The Breakers would have been lovely (I've stayed at both...), $500 a night was a little more than any of our gals wanted to spend. On a hunch, we decided to give the Jupiter Beach Resort a try, and wow, we're sure glad we did! Who knew that such a charming, luxurious, oceanside inn could be had for $249 during spring break! The facilities are beautiful and the rooms elegantly appointed with down pillows and duvets. The bed was so comfortable that, I declare, the Westin chain has nothin' on these folks! The bathrooms are marble, and the televisons in each room are large, flat screen, high definition numbers...GREAT! This hotel is on the smallish side, but that took nothing away from the ammenities. They have an excellent restaurant on site (where we enjoyed breakfast each morning), and a poolside bar where we could get salads and such for lunch. The size of the hotel only helped to ensure that the staff knew who we were, and everyone was so friendly. You can bet your bottom dollar that we'll be back there again next spring! Oh, by the way, when we checked out, I failed to check the drawers and accidently left behind some of my nicer things. I was crushed when I realized that. My friends gave me little hope of ever seeing those things again, but, after calling the JBR the next morning, a precious, little clerk named Maria searched the room, found the missing items, and mailed them to me via FedEx...God bless her!!
