A little gem not to be sniffed at! A review of Anna Hotel
A group of six adults (3 couples) stayed in the hotel's seperate annexe located about 200 yards away, after checking in, it took about 5 minutes to find the property as the directions at the hotel reception were given in broken english. When we got to our rooms we were pleasantly surprised, they were very modern and very clean and were in a quiet location in the building. While the annexe has no services other than daily room cleaning and linen change, the hotels facilities are there if you require. Breakfast was served in the main hotel building and was both plentiful and of sufficient quality and variety to satisfy all but the hardest to please with a selection of cheeses, meats, eggs, cereal, breads, jams, yoghurts, pastries, tea, coffee, orange juice etc. The hotel is in Prague 2 which is sufficently close to walk to all the main tourist attractions including the castle, in fact we never used a taxi once during our stay, which considering their reputation was maybe not a bad thing. The bars and restaurants located near to the hotel are numerous and extremely good value. They get progressively more expensive the closer you got to the town centre. We paid £108 per couple for 4 nights which to me is just unbeatable, if you are considering Prague then seriously consider this hotel and or it's annexe.
