A hotel where your business is truely appreciated A review of Paradise Hotel

We've just returned from a week's stay at the Hotel Paradise 10th - 17th June 2005. Having stayed at the Skiathos Princess for two weeks in 2002, we were looking for a smaller, 'value for money' hotel closer to Skiathos Town for our one week stay.

We read the reviews on tripadvisor.com, then looked at the Hotel Paradise website. We were not disappointed. The reviews are very accurate and the website reflects a true image of this excellent family run hotel.

On arrival we were made to feel very welcome and relaxed immediately - most important for a week's holiday. We were very impressed with the attitude of everyone working at the hotel - nothing was too much trouble and there was always a strong emphasis on all of the guests enjoying their holiday and relaxing.

There are magnificent views from the hotel - both the beautiful Aegean sea and the valley of olive groves inland. It is worth noting that the hotel is reached via a steep hill, however a regular and reliable shuttle service is available to and from Skiathos town. We shared many amusing journeys back with the amiable Billy (the driver) following the odd cocktail or five in town!

We met many guests who have returned to this hotel year after year and were pleased to hear that the owners have been making various improvements to ensure that the hotel continues to maintain it's excellent reputation.

To top it all, the epitome of customer service was the unequivocal assistance given to us from Dimitri during a game of poolside scrabble when we decided over a few beers to change from English to Greek words!!

We would not hesitate to book at the Paradise Hotel again on our next return to Skiathos.
