A Home Away From Home A review of Chamberlain West Hollywood
I recently stayed twice at this gem of a hotel: the first time was for a full month in November, 2003, and then again for an additional 4 days in late-January, 2004. I can't sing its praises enough. It may not be the swankiest venue in town (though staff inform me it is about to undergo a major renovation), but for homely comfort and excellent value, it really can't be beat. All suites come with a kitchenette which is a boon for long-term travelers, as is the hotel's location in a quiet residential block just steps from all the conveniences of WeHo.
In addition, the staff are a model of efficiency and friendly assistance; nothing was ever too much trouble for them. As a relatively frequent traveler to LA, I've stayed in a range of accommodations over the years but Summerfield Suites will certainly be my first pick from hereon. I highly recommended it!
