A good hotel A review of Radisson Blu Astrid Hotel, Antwerp
We spend 2 nights at this hotel, and it's a good place to discover some interesting aspects of the city. It has a very good connection with the central station and the subway. Both are very affordable and uncomplicated (especially trams and subway). Especially in comparison with my own country. It's sad that you can check in only after 3 p.m.
The rooms are big and comfortable, we enjoyed breakfast very much. I think this is also a good place to stay with you children, the hotel is very peaceful and you can do a lot in Antwerp with the kids. There is a zoo quite near the hotel. And the Oceanarium "Aquatopia" is attached to the hotel, Aquatopia is also very suitable for grownups. If you stay in the hotel, make sure you buy the tickets here. Furthermore In many museums there are special activities for the children.
Antwerp has known wealthier times, but I thought it was strange that there is a big discrepancy between the hotel and the (immediate) environment.
