A good hotel for those on a budget... A review of Denisa Hotel
A friend and I went to Prague in December 2003 and stayed at this little hotel. For what we paid which was roughly £50 for two nights we had no complaints. The hotel is situated near the metro station so no problem with getting into Prague itself and you save money by staying out of the tourist areas. The room was ample with two single beds and although hard! bearable and there was also a sofa bed which could accomodate a third person. There was a tv and mini fridge which we used to store our bottled water and snacks which we could conveniently buy from the supermarket next door and which was open most of the time even until the early hours.Breakfast was a cold buffet selection and although plentiful was repeated from whatever leftovers were present the day before but we had no complaints-there was a good selection of fresh fruit and pastries and hot drinks and juices as well as a selection of cold meats and cheeses. We went in the winter which was really cold and only had few blankets which wasnt the best but we did ask for extra blankets and turned the heating on full whack!Cleaners were always present during our stay and changing the beds and tidying the bathroom after we had made so much mess. This is a good little budget hotel to stay in if you dont mind not being completely central in Prague-as I said though this didnt pose a problem to us as the metro system is very easy to understand!
