A bad memory A review of Ledgelawn Inn
We stayed at the Ledgelawn a couple of years ago. They put us up in the
attic. It was picturesque and had a pretty view. But it was a tiny
room. They said there would be enough room for our family of four.
There were two double beds and they added two roll-aways. The double
beds seemed extra small plus the attic was hot and airless. So my
husband and I each needed a bed. The ceilings were very low in places,
so you had to stoop in order to get to the closet. We were really
crowded. I got up during the night to use the restroom and tore my leg
open on a little metal knob on one of the roll-away beds because there
was no room to walk. The staff gave me some butterfly bandaids to hold
my skin together and then they billed our credit card for the bandages
without our knowledge! The property was advertised as having a pool,
but the pool was green. This experience gave me a bad feeling about
Maine and I hesitate to go back there.
