A bad experience A review of Days Inn Morro Bay
We booked reservations on the internet for Days Inn in Morro Bay, reservations were for July 27 and 28, 2003. When we checked in we were given a room on the back side of the motel and it was small, smelly and the bed was not a queen like we had asked for. We upgraded and were moved to a room that was nicer in the front part of the motel complex.
When I went to shower the shower head was not attached and water shot across the shower, the desk said maintenance would fix it the next day.
The next morning my wife went to get ice (the ice machine has two high steps leading up to it) and when she turned to leave she fell and almost hit the cement parking stop in the lot. She ended up with a swollen leg from blood collecting and a large scrape on her arm. We checked out, came home and went to emergency to have the arm and leg checked. Thank goodness no broken bones, but a very sore and swollen leg that will take several days to heal.
Wouldn't use Days Inn in Morro Bay again, and feel that the area around the ice machine is a hazard to motel clients.
