5 Star Elegence A review of Eurostars Montgomery
Sitting quite unobtrusively in a terraced building just off a large traffic round-about centred by a beautiful water fountain you will find the Montgomery. Once you walk through the small main entrance you will be greeted with a warmth you have probably not experienced before, rolling from the reception staff right through the decor of the wood panelled, leather chaired public spaces to the sumptuous elegance of the extremely large rooms.
I have stayed in many hotels in many countries but this has to be classed among the best. If you visit at a weekend you will get a tremendous price but you will find yourself about a half hours walk outside the city centre, but for the less energetic of us there is always the underground station not one minutes walk from the hotel which will whisk you into the city in no time. Not a problem.
The rooms have an extra large bed, a comfortable sofa with coffee table and easy chair, a large redwood writing desk and by the window an additional small coffee table with 2 chairs. The elegant bathroom comes complete with bathrobe and slippers. If you look at the web site for the Montgomery what you see is what you get, luxury. Don't miss out on this one.
