Cebu Pacific out of Singapore on Christmas Night after our champagne brunch at the Ritz Carlton. Depart 0040 and arrive Manila at 0405. We stay at the pan Pacific for 1/2 day - they ahve a day use rate which is about 60% of the regular 1 night rate.

Hopped from HK to Manila - the flight is fast - unfortunately - ALL of the currency exchange spots closed at 11 pm - no help when the flight lands at 11:55 pm. Took a taxi to the hotel, exchanged at their userous rate (39 to the dollar instead of 40.xx) - took a shower and went to bed. Manila is dirtier than bangkok - smog, litter, and much more...
