well the ferry proved to be fairly entertaining, as it was effectively a small cargo ship loaded up with all sorts, invluding palm trees. katie and i and the two japanese dudes who we were with were given a small room on the bridge with a mattress and a fan. which turned out to be the recipe for the best night's sleep i had enjoyed in a while......
