It is not a whale, a shark, or any other large sea animals, but is a family of a pufferfish that weighs 1,000kg on average. Molas are seen around Lembongan during August - November, when they surface from their deep habitat of 200-600 meters under the sea. I have been patiently waiting to get a glimpse of these magnificent fish!! For the past few weeks, I have been hearing reports ...

It did mean that he called Val back from a few of her explorations before she'd have needed to if Edi had been watching out for her, since he was a bit more of a sheepdog than Edi, apparently, but all went well. Edi was a great person to dive with too, pointing out all sorts of fish, and his photographs have been an amazing addition to our collection for the trip, as you'll see. A few t-shirts later and hardly any money spent we went back to find our chauffeur lol. As the hotel is very pricey ...

... on some western restaurant. That's the other thing about Kuta: because it's such a tourist trap there are all types of restaurants from all over. So we spoiled ourselves silly on that. But quite honestly the best food was the local cheap stuff at our hotel restaurant. After we ate we went to check out the beach. Once again, not so much fun. It's just teaming with people trying to sell you stuff so it's impossible to enjoy. We left that area ...

much of a disaster, I had the number to cancel the debit card with
me) but someone had found it and left it on top of the machine for
me. It also meant that I was quits with Margit after her making the
same mistake at the airport. Her excuse was just getting off a
marathon 14 hr flight, what was mine? Never mind...
