Left Tewantin early in the morning, but we cannot really get used to Queensland time, where the sun rises at five in the morning and sets before seven in the evening. Change the clocks, like the rest of Oz, please. Arrived Bundaberg and visited the "Mystery Craters", on the road to Gin Gin which is one of the major unsolved questions of the geological world. It was good to sit by the fire our first night. I think it was probably the coldest night we've had this year, but we didn't mind too much. We were warm and had marsh mallows!

Unfortunately shops on the esplanade were pretty much closed as well so I’m gonna have to go back again to check them out. When I walked further down the beach I did find some restaurants still open, but a few were closing up soon. I decided to get some fish and chips and had it right by the beach.

Next day as I was booking tickets to the ...

... and an exciting run back down. The next day we both went for a swim over at mountain creek and I managed 2 and a half miles which made me happy but it was serious effort haha. Worked that evening but Mondays tend to be quiet so we finished pretty early. Had Tuesday off and so decided we were going to go and find a golf course that allowed beginners on. Found glenview golf course and made fools out of ourselves on the par 3 9 hole course. Named our buggys bellinda and Barney ...
