    ... butterflies. We’d seen a similar butterfly exhibit in Tucson, Arizona. In Aruba, however, the butterflies were in a more natural tropical environment. There were beautiful butterflies flitting everywhere. Some of the prettiest would not stop for a moment, making them impossible to photograph.     ... loads of people, staff and guests, passed by and every one felt duty bound to stop and chat, and every conversation was the same.

    "Are you fishing?"
    "Have you caught anything?"
    "Oh, well, keep trying."
    "We will" Hollow laughter.

    One chap stopped and showed us a picture of a fish he had caught in the lake the previous day. It was a 26 pound Snook. This apparently is impressive. Well he was impressed ...

    ... this was a very caribbean affair, chaotic in a very laid back way. There were supposed to be six models, including two boys, but only two girls turned out. They did their best, but amongst all the smiles and quick changes it had the look of a pantomime quick-change routine. And the girl doing the presentation was mechanical and over rehearsed. But it was a diversion during our Fruit Chantilly Shortbread dessert.
