... down a dirty, black, sewage, monkey poo and cigarette filled open drain loosing his flip flop in the process! This certainly made everyone burst out into hysterics and the locals gave him a free hold of the monkey afterwards for entertaining them! Luckily a shop was next door to wash his foot and we managed to find a stick to scoop out his stinky flip flop! If only we'd got it all on camera! Haha The walk back to our log huts was a good 20-30 minute walk through ...

We also ended up booking a tour for Sunday to go see the other sides of Phi Phi Don (island that we are on) and Phi Phi Leh/Maya Bay (where 'The Beach' was filmed). The entire afternoon was 600 baht ($20) for the boat trip, snorkeling, ...

... br> First impressions were the island was absolutley stunning!! Hetic, but stunning! There were taxi touts, diving school touts.. every kind of tout waiting around the island competing for our business! It was a crazy blur trying to wind our way along the busy streets, weaving in and out of trolleys, tourists and cyclists to get to the hotel.

I think it is fair to say that the first thing everyone spotted was the swimming pool. Within five minutes of us checkig in we ...
