    ... they told us. The three teachers at our table were friendly but their English was limited. Sam, who seems to get on with everybody, endeared himself to them by coming out with quite a lot of Thai phrases.

    I'm not sure if I'm pinned in the right place at all because I haven't a clue where on this planet I am. None of us do. We are in the middle of mountains covered in jungles and nothing else. We could be in Barbados for all we know.
