We had lunch by the playing field today enjoying lovely spicy fish cooked in a banana leaf. The final lesson was the “Terrible Tuesday” gang. ... sizeable in this part of Thailand, with Malaysia only a few hundred kilometres away. This village wasn't too special. We saw a couple of gibbons that were family pets of one of the shops, otherwise there is a school with kids already trained to ask tourists for money, a hospital and a market selling the exact same items as ...

With some more hours’ teaching under my belt now I was certainly starting to feel more confident and the three of us had a good afternoon. (apart from the travelling).

It was my birthday. I had thought of inviting Vithu and Nibarna to join me for dinner but they had already arranged to go to Phuket for the weekend. So with no company for the evening ...
