    ... I walked to the top of the hill which was quite high up, it was so cloudy that I couldn't see much apart from the absolutely massive block of offices in Dongcheng which rose above the mist.     ... so it seemed like a localised problem. It was nearly out flight so we went airside and say by the gate where we found out that it had been delayed. We discussed contingency plans in case it was delayed a long time and then there was an announcement in Chinese over the tannoy. On investigation we discovered that the airline was paying for a hotel for us and with a mixture of Chinese, broken English and mine we deduced that the best thing to do was to follow everyone else... ...
