... I have the essentials (like rain boots and underwear) so I think I'll live.

While I won't be flying business class, like mr. hot shot, I will get a flight that's 2x longer with half the leg room *whoo*. Fortunately I only have one short layover in Denmark and then I'll be meeting Rob at the Manchester airport. A long plane ride just means I'll have all 11 hours to read my travel books! Just hearing about Rob's adventures these past few days have made me really antsy ...

Coco because of the coconut palm lined beaches. The road was mostly inland,
though, and I saw a lot more cows and Dominican cowboys than palm-fringed beaches

to get worried my KIA would get stuck in the ...

Outside of town stands the home of Ponce de Leon, seeker of the Fountain of Youth and explorer and namer of Florida, who was also governor of the Higuey region for the Spanish crown. I couldn’t come to an agreement on price with the attendant who was clearly trying to riff me off, so I didn’t go inside. The guidebooks indicate the interior displays are pretty sparse anyway, ...

... the images (you cannot bring your own camera). :(

Today was our rest day, did not really do much but explore the island and enjoy the sun. There were a lot of activities that you could sign up for that is included in the all inclusive package. I took part in the Zumba and the step class. Loved it, the dude that taught us was either high or drunk it was amazing.

So much fun, cannot wait till tomorrow!

... in, I heard Pete try We Don't Neaux on the radio - no response. We hope to see them in Punta Cana sometime in the next day or two. It was a much calmer night, and we made much better time than we did the previous night. When I woke for my shift around 03:00, we were just nearing Punta Macao - no need to even consider stopping in there at this hour. By sunrise, I nudged Pete sleeping on the settee to see if he agreed that I should go ahead and start making the turn around Cabo ...
