      ... swimming area and watched them for a bit - one seemed very determined to show one of the trainers a flower he found.  This is where I start having a hard time.  I love seeing these animals in person. (and Darrin even got to touch the dolphin - which he's wanted to do for years after getting shoved aside by mother's with kids at Marineland and missing his chance).  But they are so highly intelligent (along with the orca's) and I feel like ...

      ... it's a bit like when you ring somewhere and they say 'is it ok if I put you on hold' and put you on hold before you even have a chance to answer. Rob is having difficulty being understood by the yanks -for example he asked if the queues were long and they didn't know what he was talking about.       ... stocked up on every antinausea treatment possible! Overall we found out that cruise ships are not our thing - we like our space and lots of options for swimming and playing - but we did enjoy a break from homeschooling, cooking and cleaning.

      Time to leave the coast and head back inland - next destination Coachella Valley - the desert home of wealthy retirees, Hollywood stars and the rest of the riffraff!!

      ... the same can be said for any animal in captivity. It just seems sadder, I think, when the creatures are as awe-inspiring as the orcas.       ... seeing some awesome sports photography: http://ironstring.com/wp/index.shtml Mark told us about multiple tours he has done across the US. One of which was with his girlfriend at the time and wife now. Traveling is the best test of love, ask us about our friendship at this point.
