    ... just about come to the end of our little New England tour and have travelled through 6 states...at the moment we are in Newport, Rhode Island...home to some pretty rich folk and some serious boats!

    The weather has been great, blue skies and sunny days so we have been blessed. Back to Boston tomorrow for a week then On to New York...

    ... three inches lower. We took the same fishhook loop on Joe Tesce St three times, and paid the tunnel toll twice. The third time we ignored our damsel of doom, and followed the signs to I-93 South.

    ... almost on my knees to get to our first floor room. We went for a short walk around town - it is very cold and still raining - so we retreated to the Oyster Bar for a drink and diner - excellent.     the most prestigious sailing races, the America Cup.

    We had actually visited Newport previously on the trip on the way from
    Providence. Tamsin showed us the wonderful cliff walk which is
    nestled between the ocean and the mansions of Newport. These were
    built by the super rich of the 20th century and are modelled on
