Glass Window Bridge

... Wells. We need to time it right and factor in the tide and the strong current going through. We managed to time our exit through perfectly, but it meant getting up at 6:30 am. It was an easy transit through to the other side of Eleuthera. It can get fairly rough through the cut if the conditions are right. There are mooring balls at the small settlement on the north side of the cut for boaters unable to make it through the cut and having to wait it out.

There were a few shops and restaurants in this small community and the people were very friendly. ...

In actuality, it's kind of fun. The thunder is vibrating the floor of the house since it sits on posts set in the ground but is otherwise open to the air all around. The rain has come in waves (as have ...

We were in Rock Sound for the fireworks and celebrations. Interestingly enough, the party begins the night before so that they can have fireworks at midnight to welcome the 10th of July right from the start!

Sorry if the first few pics are repeats.
