    ... and vistas, we were rewarded by two sightings of the Bighorn sheep. One sobering moment came when we ventured off the path and one wrong turn later, we were lost. However, we could see a highway and although it was the wrong one, we did find our way back. It is amazing how easy it is to get disoriented in the desert. As a reminder, Dan composed the following poem.

    ... camper around. We were fortunate to be close to a turn around and by then they had shut the interstate down and were directing people off onto the frontage road. Right before we were about to get past the fire via the frontage road, they ended up having to shut it down as well so we had to turn around again.
