    ... from the drive on Thursday. Did some grocery shopping and just driving around the area. The town is surrounded by gigantic hills, but as with most of CA, everything is pretty dry.

    ... screens for the "big" prizes to shoot. I was a bit humiliated finding out that I came in third - I'm sure my hits weren't all being registered. I was going to talk to the people in charge, but I couldn't find them. I will protest the score until I get official confirmation. We had a quick lunch and then walked through Radiator Springs.     ... back to Oliver BC. It all looked quite different, except the swimming pool area was the same. The date farm had grown immensely, and Paul and I had a really lovely lunch there....including the famous date shake!     ... seeing so much. This visit to Yuma was not without that and I managed to snap a photo again. There is a strip of parking space alongside maybe a cotton field on 32nd Street in Yuma, across from the military base airfield where cars park and mostly males hang out with cameras and iphones in hand hoping to capture photos of the military planes and helicopters.
