... too cold where every body part hurt so we called it quits early. We found out that Heavenly closed early too because of the conditions. Our plan was to take Jalen to see fireworks at Heavenly village on NYE but we cut the trip short and left NYE because of the horrible weather. It is way to cold, highs of 18. Jalen played a few minutes in the snow but not long because his face turned red. He really did enjoy the snow and kicking it and throwing it. He will have a blast in ...

The really big casinos here are Hurrahs and ...

... Only 1.30pm, so as our room wasn't ready, we did a run by the local tourist shopping area and then got a few groceries. As we are technically in Nevada by about 2 miles, there are 5 casinos between us and the California border. Might do steak and lobster for $15 there tomorrow night. Tonight though we are eating in again. Resort is fine, room to spread out again. Again no wifi without paying but computer at clubhouse for use. A bit ...

... There were amazing geothermal things, geysers, steam pools and bubbling mud as far as the eye can see. There is also a huge couple of waterfalls and their own personal grand canyon. Through this park we saw bison/buffalo, even stuck in a buffalo jam. Bears - 4 of them, black and grizzly, no yogi though. Knew i should had taken my pick-a-nic basket with me. Just south of here is Grand Teton National Park, where we walked around Jenny ...
