    ... 8220;doers” they are innovators and we see the same vision for
    the future of agriculture. Oh well, I am happy to have connected with them at
    all, it was very refreshing to be able to discuss ideas with them. Leslie asked
    me to come to help with an English class a few days before I leave, she thought
    it would be helpful for the students to hear a native English speaker. They are going to make some calls to connect

    ... turns out so was Javier because
    our next stop was a friend of his for lunch.
    We sat around a table with a brightly colored rooster patterned table
    cloth. We had plates of casado, the classic rice, beans, meat and plantain dish
    which sustains this entire country’s heart and soul. After lunch we went into
    the kitchen to help stir the Carheta (spelling?) which was a sweet treat made
    from boiling down milk ...
