          I got up early enough to beat the tour buses to the border, and went through a ridiculous, completely inefficient runaround at both sides of the border. The Nicaraguan side was extremely laissez faire, with no direction to guide those trying to leave, and making the whole process a scavenger hunt. Very different from the entrance process.           me to Oscar and asked me to help Oscar feed the animals and milk the goats. We
          went through the whole farm giving out rations, laying chickens, ducks, pigs,
          turkeys, meat chickens, meat goats, sheep and the Emus! After everyone in the
          main farm area was fed we walked down to the river, there was a pond with

          ... and Karen felt compelled to pack every morsel of steak still on the buffet into the ziploc bags we had brought to protect our cameras from the rain and from there, into the pockets of the cargo shorts that Dave had chosen to wear for this occasion. Poor Dave.
