The morning of New Years Eve, we jumped in the car with Sasha and set out to see some more of Connecticut. We saw adorable town after adorable town, and had lunch at an old fashioned general store near Goshen. We drove through Cornwall, a perfect little town with a 200 year old covered bridge. After another tasty cold breakfast, we packed up to leave. This was a very nice little town on the border on Connecticut and New York. It was so noce we almost stayed for the winter. The problem was that it was down in a valley so getting out of the valley with icy roads would have been a problem. During the summer there was the Houstonic River that ran along side the town. This place was beautiful during the fall. Also saw Bull's Covered Bridge. Too bad they did not have a campground ...

Last night as I put my head on my comfortable Tempurpedic pillow and snuggled into my bed for the final time a feeling of immense excitement came over me. It felt like the eve of my Birthday/Christmas/Opening night of a play/Graduation (you get the point) times 10. It seemed so surreal that the adventure was here after months of planning and talking about it with practically everyone under the sun and each other.
