... until we got to East End Point. Very deep water (over 2000 feet) along this coast was less than a mile offshore. The wind had finally veered to the northeast, after being from the northwest for many days and was forecast to be 10-15 kts. This set up the rare opportunity to sail and fish on a fast beam reach in pleasant winds paralleling a coast in flat water. Donna was already counting on a fish dinner....

... After dinner, we caught the end of a show – a singer performing with the Emerald Princess Orchestra. That was followed by an act called Team Rootberry, which combined juggling and comedy. It was very entertaining – they had some great juggling and some mediocre juggling, but they combined it with some wit and charm, so it was all delightful. The whole audience laughed a lot, as did we.

Embarkation day. It began chaotically. Pas and Sue called to say they were on the 10:45 shuttle, and to try to arrive around 11:15, so that we could all board together. We arranged a taxi, but I had some work that I needed to do, and Paul and the kids had to delay brekkies because of a long line, so we were rushed leaving the hotel. We had a nice drive to the cruise port, along the beach and through some posh neighborhoods.
