Of interest to our family, whilst packing up in Broken Hill, talking to a couple from Perth who a couple of …

Wilpena Pound resort is set in a beautiful part of the Flinders Ranges, it has many walks and 4WD Tour activities available for travelers. there are hotel rooms and powered and unpowered sites for the campers and caravaners. while the resort is quite old it is in great shape thanks to a great team of individuals, both permanent and itinerant. its constantly maintained and upgraded as it requires it to be so. Recommend a visit if you have not done so already. Strongly suggest you book ahead in peak season.

We stayed on the campgrounds for 1 night. Good facilities, swimmingpool, etc. Nice place to stay and close to the trailheads!
