The library and YMCA were closed and all the beaches had expensive parking fees that we didn’t want to pay. We decided to drive into Naples and see if anything was going on there. We stopped at a beach and sun tanned a little bit before it got too breezy and cool. We parked closer to town and walked through the neighbourhood. Naples is a pretty rich community so the houses are ...

... burly frogs jumping across the path, bugs hitting me in the face, sprinklers that I can't see until I'm almost in them, cars (we ride mostly on the sidewalk of our quiet neighborhood streets) and the dark. None of these deter me! The bikes we ride have lights so it's much easier to see and be seen than without them. Although I do keep an eagle eye on Mecca (just because I'm her mom, not because she's not a skilled rider.)
