... find that the place had forgotten to order fudge and the pizza they were after was not done yet! But, Bud got the pictures at least. Then back uphill to the cabin. We left Itasca State Park out the southern entrance, can you believe the it is 6.5 miles to the exit for starters and then...you guessed it uphill again! I want to know when we get to go down hill? ... have used a few less of the state bird ( mosquito squad) on the walk but, the scenery is beautiful.Looks like you all will need to return, if you would like to see the pictures from this trip. I have given up on what might be the problem with the upload. So will be adding pictures when I return to the cities. Well as the heading of this post denotes, today is rest day. Going to try to take a boat ride around lake Itasca and learn the history. Till next ...

... at the Lucky Moose here in Walker. The food was great and the bike is hopefully fixed for good. Tomorrow is supposed to be rainy, cold, and windy. Yeah! love the diversity of a good adventure. Marilyn is not happy...but she is going to be a trooper or maybe she will be calling a relative to pick her up. Stay tuned... and see if Marilyn makes it to Lake Bemidji State ...
