We spent 2 nights in Duluth. We stopped here to visit our ex neighbors and it is on the way to Park Rapids. We were glad we did. Duluth is a very beautiful city. It is Minnesota's version of San Francisco. The majority of the town is on the side of a hill. I don't know how they handle that in the winter. ... hours. I could have done it in 9 if it weren't for the stupid polar vortex and its accompanying blizzard. Shortly after I crossed into Wisconsin it started to snow, but just a little. It started to pick up, and I knew I was driving into a blizzard that dropped two feet of snow last night, so I got off the highway to fill up my tank and see exactly where the storm was heading.
