Arrived 3 days ago, thought I would crash for the day after a marathon journey to get here but found renewed energy to check this place out so lasted the day and slept that night so quickly acclimatised which was great. Yesterday jumped on a taxi motorbike and rode through the lush surroundings to white beach when I spent the day. Amazing stretch of beach, white sand of coarse ...

... Fantastic Philippines 2012' adventure! After the white knuckle coach journey, we jumped in a tuk tuk, 8p each and off to the Mall it was, all while i collected everyones fare along the way as i was closest to the driver!! I keep strolling and surveying the amusing scenarios that continue to play out. A group of dorky Koreans sing atrociously out of tune to the sounds of the omnipresent karaoke box. Two ...

... we find it quite choppy and cold, so decide to take the man in the boat up on his offer, gliding along behind the boat in our snorkeling gear to watch the hundreds of colourful fish swim by. Cold, because it may not be raining but it is not hot like in Manila, we are taken back to the bigger boat, and make our way back. On the way we stop at another beach which we look at, but we soon arrive at Puerto Galera. ...
