Fishy Feet

The beach was quieter and there seemed to be a bit more space around, oh and no kids. We stopped at one of the shacks and had some lunch and a drink and chatted away about what the next few weeks would bring. We now had a plan and most of our first 2 weeks back home were chock a block.

Awwwwww phuket
... and it was great because it was an actual hotel with a nice room and kettle….the whole shebang. A kettle while you're travelling btw is an absolute god send. Nothing like a good cup of tea after months without it. Until Indre got in the shower and revealed a little bit of Thai hotel standards we had come to expect. There she was having a lovely shower until she tried to get the water a little bit hotter, as you do, and then……. ZAP massive ...
Beaches and First day diving.
... to rehydrate ourselves. After walking for a while we came across Sabai Sabai and since it has been recommended to us by seasoned Thai travellers we went in for a shake. The service was a bit lackluste at best thus I can't imagine them winning anyone over in that area but the shakes were just what the doctor ordered. We ordered one watermelon one papaya. Mmmmm I recommend this as a must for all.

One good thing is that we finally got our laundry back tonight. The bad thing is that it’s not really dry and smells musty from sitting in a bag while still damp. Most of it smells worse than when we dropped it off, so I’m not thrilled about that. Ah well, all we can do now is hope it gets better for ...
