... had a tight schedule to get to Kelowna. From Merritt to Kelowna we in counted some bad weather complete with heavy rain and the temperature dropped down to 8 degrees because this was an elevated mountain range but as we got to Kelowna the temp increased. ... ranch. It was interesting that this area was almost a desert with irrigation required for crops. The S to S Hwy was a gorgeous drive with 13% grades and many curves. We left the Fraser River at Lilleboet and followed Cayoosh Creek the rest of the way to Whistler. Numerous other creeks added their water to Cayoosh with names such as Kane, Blowdown, ...

... that big of a deal for us back in England but our Canadian family celebrate Easter in a big way…well with a BIG dinner! Turkey, ham, veggies, cake and lots of chocolate eggs! The whole nine yards, including an Easter egg hunt. Jean hid four coloured bunnies, different colours for each of us so we had to find our bunnies! See photos.

... will know for sure tomorrow when I use my skis again. Once the wax was smoothed on with the iron and left to cool I scraped off the excess wax (using my Whistler Library card) then started to clean up.
UPDATE – I went skiing the following day and definitely noticed a difference in my skis, they were livelier, more willing to turn and do 360s.
