... no central stanchions. Once over at Blackcomb we found out that the quad chair was open to go up to 7th Heaven so we hopped on the bus to take us to the chair lijft. It was still a long way on this chair lift and as we went higher it definitely grew colder. At the bottom it said it was 10C and at the Peak 2 Peak station it was 2C but this was appreciably colder. ... and it was a beautiful day so at least Megs could see what she missed out on on the way in. We hiked Grassi Lakes which is an awesome hike and beautiful scenery. We had a packed lunch so after our walk down, we had a nice picnic lunch at a riverside park looking back at the mountains. Craving a coffee and tea, we walked through the town and got a drink before climbing back into the car to drive back to Calgary. ... we had been and we even had traffic lights and left hand turns to manage. It's the 4th largest city in BC and has its own university. We arrived just before lunch and popped into Costco. No members card !! So couldn't shop so headed to another place where we did a bit if grocery shopping and then had lunch in the RV.
