Fun activities. Very friendly staff. A great place to stay for a week with kids--
          Even in the hot months.
          We will definitely be back.

Our deluxe lock off is a one bedroom in building 6 unit 404. Top floor. We have our own washer and dryer with a light kitchen (stove top, convection oven and dish washer). The resort is beautiful

Today we celebrated our 35th anniversary by hiking Cholla Trail up one side of Camelback Mountain, and down the other side on Echo Canyon Trail. The entire hike was just over 3 miles but parts of each trail were straight up and down, and we were basically just climbing rock faces. Both trails were listed as extremely difficult, but it might have …

In the winter of 1938, 70-year-old Frank Lloyd Wright purchased 160 acres at the foot of the McDowell Mountains in present-day Scottsdale to transform into his winter home and studio. Inspired by the southwestern landscape, Wright sought a ‘nobly simple’ architecture in Taliesin West. Primitive but elegant, Taliesin West’s …

Lots of people really feel fairly personal-conscious about visiting the gym and exercising in the midst of other individuals. It's quicker to deal with a grueling exercise program whenever you really feel confident in on your own - anything that's difficult to do when you're sporting raggedy, messy, or ...

... like. There seemed to be a continuous scattering of old tyre all the way, which I always find a little disconcerting. The Chaparral Suites in Scottsdale was easy to find, so we checked in and headed for the pool. Although it was past four in the afternoon, it was still hot and it was good to stop for a bit and enjoy the sunshine. Free drinks in the form of large G&Ts were downed before we all moved on to the Yardhouse for a communal meal. The food was superb and ...
